Between 2002-2007, the Italian singer Alexia began releasing tracks from her albums as Radio only singles with no physical release due to the changing ature of the Italian music industry. They are all collected for reference here.

An English version appeared on the International version of the album Alexia and was also the B side on the international release of Don't You Know. Unlike some of Alexia's translated songs, the theme of the song is the same in both languages in that Alexia has had enough of her lover, wants him out of her life and that without him her life will feel peaceful. The code for the promotional CD is SAMPCS 120081.
The title 'Una Donna Sola' translates as 'An Alone Woman', with the song being about how Alexia feels alone until the man she is singing about comes into her life, once again comparing him to the sun (as she did in Non Lasciarmi Mai
) asking him not to remove himself from her life. She repeatedly sings 'I do not pretend to own the stars, but do not remove the light of your sun from my skin'.
The title of the track translates as 'Never Say Never' with the song being about Alexia's want to leave the fragile uncertain relationship she is in as she feels suffocated, yet that she can't say she will never go back to him.

"Una Donna Sola" was the second track to be lifted from Alexia's seventh studio album Gli Occhi Grandi Della Luna and was premiered on Italian radio stations on 16 July 2004. Following the release of an English song, Alexia reverted back to singing in Italian. The code for the release was SAMPCS 14262-1. "Mai Dire Mai" was the second and final track to be lifted from Alexia's second official compilation album Da Grande. It was the only new recording on the album barring the lead single Da Grande. It was premiered on Italian radio stations on 29 April 2005.
