Alexx Calise is an American singer-songwriter.
. She was an avid writer and began playing guitar at age 11 following in the footsteps of her father who is also a musician. Calise began pursuing her professional music career at the age of 14.

Her music has appeared in several television shows and national ad campaigns (One Tree Hill, MTV's "Next", Vh1's "Audrina: Uncharted"), she was featured on Boston's #1 Hit Station, Kiss 108 as a "hot up-and-coming indie artist," and her song, "Release Me" was chosen as the title track theme for the upcoming film, "LA I Hate You", starring William Forsythe, Malcolm McDowell and Deedee Pfieffer. She also lent her voice to a Coachella music festival short (music written by Matt O'Malley of human) directed by Sam O'Hare.
Currently, Calise is completing her debut album with other project, Sound of Cancer (which also features drummer/songwriter, Dennis Morehouse of Marc Ford and Gilby Clarke fame). She has just released her second solo album, "In Avanti", which is a collaboration with Grammy-nominated producer, Luigie Gonzalez.

Calise just re-released her 2nd solo album, "In Avanti" on May 24, 2011, and she will be releasing her debut album with other music project, Sound of Cancer in the upcoming months. Calise's song, "Cry" also recently appeared on 3 episodes of Lifetime's "Dance Moms", and in an episode of the VH1 reality show, "Audrina: Uncharted", and her song, "Pull It (Bullet)" appeared in a 2010 Women of the Crossfit Games promo.Interviews
