DJ Work

Ali started DJing whilst at school, and when at university made significant inroads in to both club and radio work. He worked at the Guild of Students DJing nights including the flagship Friday night 'Frenzy', and also made appearances on the student radio station Burn FM.

From this work, Ali concentrated on club DJ work, working at many major Birmingham clubs as both resident and guest.

In 2008, he decided to once again move back to radio work, by entering the Radiostar 2008 competition on Oxford's FM 107.9. Ali co-presented a live breakfast show in July 2008, as did 4 other short listed candidates, and was announced as the winner the following Monday morning, live on the breakfast show.

As a result, he now hosts the station's chart show, broadcast on a Saturday from 10am - 1pm.
