Alison Ann Ward is a writer, a painter, and an American TV actress. Ward has written for L.A. Weekly and the L.A. Times. She makes appearances on KTLA
's Brand X segment. She has appeared in a handful of TV shows, most notably on Nash Bridges

While studying cinema in San Francisco, Ward began to work in student films and later attended an audition for the television series Nash Bridges, which filmed in the area. Alie has stated that she comes from a family of journalists. In late 2005, the L.A. Weekly hired her to illustrate the column 24/7 and in early 2006 she was offered a writing assignment to cover a concert.
