which was desperately trying to cope with the legacy of Communist regime, overturned less than four years earlier. Hipodil enjoyed and even abused this newly bestowed freedom and that is quite visible in their otherwise poorly produced debut. They also rode the wave of the scandal which their lyrics inevitably provoked and soon the band had a cult following, mainly in Sofia and some other big cities of the country.
