Aloha High was ranked as one of Newsweek's top 1500 high schools in the U.S. in 2008, 2009, and 2010, where it was ranked the third best high school in the state.

Aloha currently offers 18 Advanced Placement courses, a 125% increase from 2001. In 2008-09 424 students took 694 AP tests compared to 156 AP tests administered in 2001.

Athletics

On December 11, 2010, the Aloha High School football team played Tualatin High School for the state championship at Reser Stadium at Oregon State University. Aloha High School won the game with a score of 34-13.

In the 2008-2009 school year, there were 71 teachers, 177 instructional assistants, 40 administrators and 30 other staff members. Teachers had on average 1.67 years of experience, and 25% had at least a masters degree.
