Alpha Phi Gamma is a member of the National APIA Panhellenic Association (NAPA).
Members of Alpha Phi Gamma support the cause through fundraising, raising awareness through on-campus programs, and volunteer efforts at shelters and organizations. In addition, during Domestic Violence Awareness month in October, Alpha Phi Gamma joins together on a national level to volunteer time to raise awareness and help fundraise for this important cause.
In November 2009, Alpha Phi Gamma strengthened their commitment by becoming a member of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV).

History and Purpose
Alpha Phi Gamma was founded on February 1, 1994 and was the first Asian-American interest sorority to be established at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. The sorority strives to promote sisterhood, service, academic excellence, personal development, and Asian awareness. Although Alpha Phi Gamma is an Asian-interest sorority, its sisters believe strongly in the importance of diversity and accept women of all nationalities.Alpha Phi Gamma is a member of the National APIA Panhellenic Association (NAPA).
Philanthropy
Since 1999, Alpha Phi Gamma's official National Philanthropy has been the Fight Against Violence Towards Women. The Sisters chose this philanthropy because they wanted to focus on a cause that was not as strongly supported as others, but affected the lives of many women around the world.Members of Alpha Phi Gamma support the cause through fundraising, raising awareness through on-campus programs, and volunteer efforts at shelters and organizations. In addition, during Domestic Violence Awareness month in October, Alpha Phi Gamma joins together on a national level to volunteer time to raise awareness and help fundraise for this important cause.
