Alvin Lubis is an Indonesian professional musician, arranger and music producer
. He has been working around the local music industry since 1999. His début was to act as Music Director
in a local Music School along with his friends. Alvin spent years doing jazz and pop gigs around Jakarta
as sessionist, both live on stage and in recording studio

Gained reputation
He then gained more experiences from one concert to another with several artist managements and orchestras. In year 2000, Alvin was appointed as Faculty Dean at Institut Musik Indonesia (as previously known as Indonesia Music Institute or IMI). From here after, his popularity rose uninterruptedly. In year 2005, he joined Erwin Gutawa Production and formed his own orchestra line up, named Aluna Orchestra (named after the first daughter of Erwin Gutawa). First gig of Aluna was on RCTIRCTI
