There is a football leauge out in Washington called the West Coast Football Leauge.It was founded January 27,2009, by a wealthy man named Greg Jones.The league consists of 20 teams,each from a different area of the state.The first game took place on September 2,2009 between the Bremerton Colts and Poquoson Patriots.The Colts won the game 42-3 and continued on the entire season going 16-0 and winning the state championship.The passing leader for the season was the Colts Derek Johnson who passed for 4,563 yards and 36 touchdowns.The rushing leader was Santonio Green who rushed for 1,346 yards and 10 touchdowns.The receving leading was Quinn Meidel who had 155 receptions for 3,492 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Giving Back

With his time spent coaching and managing professional and college football teams, Galat volunteered some of his time to attend youth football league functions. When he became president of American Youth Football, Galat’s strategy was simple: change the rules and traditions of the game creating unlimited weight divisions and restrict older kids from playing younger age kids. The National Football League works with AYF as a National Youth Football Partner on making the game better for the kids. New England Patriots
