Amir Perets is an Israeli-born mixed martial artist, an entrepreneur, and an active participant in Fight Science

. He is an instrumental figure in popularizing the self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces known as Krav Maga

Perets then immigrated to the United States and pursued teaching defensive tactics and live saving methods to military counter-terror units, law enforcement agencies and civilians worldwide. Simultaneously, he became a lead instructor at the newly formed “Krav Maga National Training Center", in Los Angeles California, where he holds a fourth degree black belt.
In his own quest to discover the best elements of many different types of martial arts, Perets continued to study mixed-martial arts, training with and instructing world champion "no holds barred" professional fighters.
