The moot question is whether we should sit on our past laurels or move with the young and unknown with glint bright future in their eyes. The Congress party realised this and accordingly trusts the young brigade under the astute guardian ship of Smt. Sonia Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh. Past is gone, but we can make our future with the present in mind. WE PLEAD: do not deny your own children opportunities to grow. Let them bloom, do not shackle them with old dogmas. Prepare them to face the future then only our country can be secure.

Controversy
As per The Times of India a leading national daily from India, a section of Congress leaders from Bihar are questioning the party's decision to field candidates who have poor track records in elections. They have questioned the candidature of a relatively unknown face like Amita Bhushan from Begusarai from where it could have fielded former PCC chief Ram Jatan Sinha. "In several constituencies, we still look like vote-katwas," said a former Congress MLA.No doubt, old is gold and experience has no substitute.
