. The school is a military style academy for boys and girls in grades k-11.

Every year a grade is added on and in 2012 they will have 12th grade.
Anderson Prepatory Academy started on August 4th 2008 with grades 6 to 8. In the first year APA had visits from the mayor of Anderson and congressman Mike Pence. The second year started August third 2009 that year APA haded a 9th grade. The third year started August 2nd 2010 that year APA haded a 10th grade.
