Anderster, or as it says on the album cover, is the last studio album by the German punk rock
band WIZO
.
The word anderster, meant to mean more different, is an artificial construction from the German word anders, which means different. The word anderster does not officially exist within the German language and could be considered a neologism or a grammatically incorrect construction. Although one can deduce what it is supposed to mean, anders itself is not considered proper use of the comparative
. A proper word in place of anderster could be andersartiger or anderswie, both of which mean more different, completely different, or very different.
As the band states on the back cover, they named the album anderster because the album, which was originally quite different, became even more different.
