Andrew Shull is a former professional American football

Defensive MVP award and the 1998 Mark Smith Award as team MVP. In 1998, he totaled 120 tackles (17 for losses) and 12 sacks. His career numbers total 251 tackles, 20 sacks, 18 hurries, one interception and 38 tackles for loss. He finished 1997 with 122 tackles, including eight QB sacks and 20 tackles for loss and also caught nine passes for 170 yards and five TDs as a junior. Shull also lettered two years in baseball and was a four-year academic star.
As a senior in 2003 Shull started all 15 games and made 68 tackes (16 for losses) 8 sacks, 9 pass defensed, forced a fumble and recovered two fumbles as a leader of a Kansas State defense that allowed only 16.1 points a game and 283 yards per game. The team finished the season with a record of 114, and a Big 12 Conference
record of 6–2 and beat the #1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners in the Big 12 Championship Game

As a junior in 2002 he was a starter at defensive end and totaled 53 tackles (18 for losses) and 11 sacks with four passes defensed, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a blocked kick on a K-State defense that allowed 11.8 points a game and 249.0 yards per game and ended with a 11-2 record including a victory in the Holiday Bowl
. The Wildcat defense tied a school record for shutouts in a season with three and is recognized as one of the best defenses in school history.
In 2001 as a sophomore he started in five games at defensive end, totaling 30 total tackles (five for losses) and one sack, two passes deflected. In 2000 as a freshman he played in 12 games as a reserve defensive lineman and on special teams and finished with eight tackles on the season. In 1999 he was a reshirt and was the recipient of the Overachiever Award for work done in strength and conditioning while redshirting.
