. Angela is in bed always, and had a live in doctor named Todd Powell, he and Stephanie have been taking care of Angela since she was a baby. Originally Angela was supposed to be the real Angela until the storyline was changed in January 1989, when it was Ridge's birthday, another retcon storyline makes it seem as if Angela was an impostor.

Background on Fake Angela

Not much is known, not even her real name. She bears resemblance to Angela and fools Stephanie into thinking she was her real daughter. She was a runaway at fourteen, and began posing as Angela Forrester since then, she appeared on the show as a 26 year old woman.

The Imposter

Angela was revealed to be a fake, even the doctor knew, but the Forresters still believe it was really Angela. The real truth was that in 1977, when the real Angela was 14, Todd was taking her out in a wheel chair until he let go and it went downhill and she was hit by a car. Angela died, and Todd was so distraught at the thought of telling Stephanie, when a young girl bearing a resemblance to Anglea came by. Todd realized she was a runaway and he told her that he would provide for her as long as she posed as a fake Angela Forrester. Todd had some cosmetic surgery done to her to make it more believable, then told Stephanie that Angela had an accident and had to do cosmetic surgery on her. This went on for 12 years, whenever Stephanie came by, "Angela" had to be in bed and not make a sound. Then on one occasion Stephanie and Eric were talking in Angela's room about Thorne Forrester

 and Thorne not remembering it since he was drunk. Angela was left stunned and was going to use that info later on. Eventually Stephanie Forrester wanted Angela to move in with the Forresters, but this meant that "Angela" had to pretend 24/7, with Todd Powell she at least got to go out when Stephanie wasn't around.

The Miracle

By the time she was 26 she had enough, she began to show Stephanie that a "miracle" was happening, this is so if she moves in with the Forresters, she did not want to be bed-ridden. It began with hand movements, and eye contact. Stephanie thought it was strange and wanted to take her to the hospital, Todd refused (because the hospital would figure out she was a fake). "Angela" threatened to leave Todd for good, but it was on a day that Stephanie did a surprise visit without calling that left them stunned. Stephanie was about to talk to Todd about his role in her daughter's future since he was not cooperating on moving her to the hospital. Angela then shouted "MOTHER!". Stephanie was then staring at Angela as she rose up and she said "I won't go". Stephanie was florred by Angela and literally fainted, she awoke and Todd and Angela played it off as if Stephanie was hallucinating.

Revelations and Lies

Angela continues to show improvement, but Stephanie realises that it's impossible and begins questioning Todd and Angela what is going on. Stephanie puts 2 and 2 together and finds out Angela is a fake. Todd confeses the story about how Angela died. Stephanie and Eric are furious and threaten to call the police, but Angela reveals that when people visit her, she listens and tells Stephanie she knows about the shooting. This will tear the family apart, since none of the children know about who shot Ridge, and the Forresters were hiding the secret from the police about Thorne shooting Ridge when he was drunk. Stephanie and Eric offer her $250,000 to keep quiet and to leave town. Then they are going to tell children the truth about Angela and the imposter when Stephanie inaverdetly says that Angela died the night before. She did not want to take any chances on her children finding out the truth about the shooting. Angela and Todd leave town, on the way Todd was left guilt ridden since he and Stephanie were partners on caring for the real Angela since she was born. Todd was furious when fake Angela said she was going to milk more money from Stephanie, by threating to expose the shooting story, unless she pays more. Todd said that they are fininshed with her, and he began driving into oncoming traffic. Angela panics and steers the car off the side of the road over a cliff and sending the car tumbling down, killing them both.

Deveney Dixon

Months after the accident an unidentified burned victim is being taken care of in a hospital when she escapes to a hotel. Then she has a flashback of the accident with Todd and Angela. It's revealed in a retcon storyline that this woman is Angela who survived the accident. An innoccent woman driving by, saw the buring car and pulled Angela out, as she was trying to get Todd out, Angela gets a large rock and kills the woman by bashing in her skull. She then puts her body into the car which explodes afterwards, making everyone believe that Angela really died in the car. Back in the hotel, Angela takes the bandages off revealing that she has been badly burned. She swears revenge on Stephanie Forrester. Anglea takes on the name of Deveny Dixon (she wears a brown wig and sunglasses) and visits Sally Spectra

begins to talk to her because he wants to pay for her cosmetic surgery to fix her face. When he asked for a photo so the doctor can make her look like she used to, she stole one from a beautiful girl and told Thorne it was her.

Climax

The doctor has a computer program that can put an image of what Deveney looked like before the accident. It eventually has the image of what appears to be Angela Forrester, Stephanie took one look at this and was left stunned and confused because apparently Angela Forrester was supposed to be dead. At the same time Deveney gets Thorne drunk tells him about him getting drunk and shooting Ridge. When Stephanie confronts her she lets all her fury out on Deveney. Stephanie almost wants to kill her when she is told that Thorne knows about the shooting. This causes Stephanie to almost lose it, which was "Angela's" plan. Stephanie races home to find Thorne about to shoot Ridge, she eventually breaks up the fight and tells Ridge to leave for the night. Deveney disappeared after that and has not been seen since, she may have had work done to reconstruct her face. She is probably the only villain on B&B who hasn't been killed or caught. We also never found out her true name.
