The Diocese of Huron is a diocese

The territory covered by the diocese was under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Quebec
until 1839, and was included in the Diocese of Toronto

, was the first to be elected by a diocesan synod
in Canada.

As of 2 July 2009 the Diocesan Bishop is the Right Rev. Robert Bennett, who was the former suffragan bishop for the diocese. He is supported by the Right Rev. Terry Dance, who was elected as the new suffragan bishop on 28 March 2009 and consecrated in St Paul's Cathedral, London, Ontario, on 6 June 2009. The new dean
of St. Paul's Cathedral is The Very Reverend Kevin Dixon. Rev Dixon is formerly of St Mary's Kerrisdale in Vancouver.
