Ann Kok is a Chinese Singaporean television actress and singer.

TV channel TCS-8 (now MediaCorp Channel 8). She is also regarded as "Third Sister" (third most popular actress in Singapore's Chinese-language entertainment industry) in the 1990s. She received many offers to play the leading roles in the television dramas of that time. In 2000, Kok went overseas to expand her acting career, but was not successful. She returned to Singapore's MediaCorp in 2005.
For the first time in the 13-year long career, Kok was nominated for the Best Actress Award in the Star Awards 2006
for her performance as Jiang Ruqing in Love Concierge, but did not win the award. Kok has since received more challenging and substantial roles to date, such as La Femme
, in which she played a career-minded woman who neglects her family and later suffers from breast cancer
. In 2009, she played the lead role of Alice Zeng, a materialistic and show-off housewife, in the highly acclaimed drama serial Housewives' Holiday
, which won her praise and positive reviews from audiences. For her performance, Kok was nominated for the Best Actress Award again in the Star Awards 2010
and was the hot favourite to win, but unexpectedly lost to Chen Liping

In 2011, viewers got to see Kok in yet another breakthrough role in Blockbuster Drama, Kampong Ties, which was filmed in Sungai Lembing

Apart from acting, Kok has produced three solo albums. She also sang at The Peranakan Ball in 2009 for The Little Nyonya

Biography
Kok is the youngest child of a family of six children. She has three brothers and two sisters. She started her acting career in 1993 after emerging as a finalist in Star Search SingaporeStar Search Singapore
