Inevitably, Superman follows the minions back to their headquarters and manages to enable his comrades to escape as he faces the villains by himself. With the Justice League free, they soundly defeat Queen Bee's group. Superman uses his technology to erase memories of his dual identity from the minds of the villains save Brainiac and return Earth to its original perception.

While Savage organized a group of super-villains in the mini-series JLA: Year One for a similar purpose, his Legion of Doom is organized under a similar manner as the Anti-Justice League in that its members are each specifically selected to eliminate a specific member of the Justice League, with Savage taking the place of Queen Bee, but using Batman's protocols borrowing from JLA: Tower of Babel
(Savage in place of Ra's al Ghul
). Savage would form an Anti-Teen Titans group called Tartarus
in the Titans comic book series.
