History
The club was founded in 1958 by Dr. Miguel Ángel Soto Bustamante and Mr. Antonio Martínez Barrios with the colonial city as its home. The clubs first president was Rogelio Toldeo Estrada and the clubs first manger was César Rodríguez Gudiel.They were relegated after 7 years from Guatemala's top division after the 2005/2006 season.
