player.
In Autumn 2000, Antoine Rigaudeau was appointed as Chevalier (Knight) of the Légion d'honneur
by French President.
Rigaudeau won the Euroleague
in 1997-98 and 2000-01 with Virtus Bologna
. In 2001, before the European Championship
, he retired from international basketball after 110 appearances with the French National Team
, but he decided to come back for the 2005 European Championship
where he won the bronze medal. He retired again after the tournament.
