to record their first release. The material on Apocalypse was wrote mostly by keyboardist Fritsch. Fritsch's songs were generally longer and more elaborate and featured mystical lyrics which reflected his intense interest in Science Fiction, Cosmos and Nature. Some of these classically-inspired compositions remain favorites of the band's faithful especially Miragem and Caçador de Máquinas. At the time of their first self-titled LP release, they interrupted the traffic in their town’s main street and gave a concert for over 2.000 people. Their Portuguese version for Marillion’s “Lavender” soon became a hit at the local radio, which led to a successful tour in the south of the country.
