" in Armenia. In 1990 Sarkisyan was the secretary of Communist Party of Armenia Central Commiittee. From May 14, 1991 to September 7, 1991 he was the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia.
Since 1991 he's the leader of Democratic Party of Armenia
