Archeology is a four piece indie band from Portland, Oregon made up of writing team Jason Davis and Daniel Walker, as well as drummer Benjamin Haysom and guitarist Zach Dilday. Archeology's debut album, Change of Address, was released February 14, 2009

and focus on a side project they had developed while on the road. Upon relocating the two recruited long time friend and drummer Benjamin Haysom, who at the time was playing for the indie/folk project Train Goes Sorry. In early 2010 the lineup was complete with addition of guitarist Zach Dilday. The band's name "Archeology" is a reference to the two's interest in the science of archaeology.
