, closer to Notostylopidae. Now it seems more likely they were descendants of Asian Gliriformes, akin to rabbits and rodents. Their tarsal morphology shows moderate similarity to the gliriform Pseudictops, and strong resemblance to the tarsally conservative gliroid Rhombomylus.
