development located in downtown Columbus

, and neo-classical American design. The architecture is of the Chicago School

in particular. It features a variety of restaurants, office space, entertainment venues and residencies. The neighborhood centers around Nationwide Arena
, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets

and the former home of the Columbus Destroyers
of the AFL. The district is also the site of Huntington Park

Before its creation, in the late 1990s, the area was home to the closed-down Ohio Penitentiary
