Career
Hyatt started her career as a traditional publicist working for the fashion industry, but later made a change into music. In 1994 she began working as an assistant in Boulder, CO at What Are Records?, a small indie record label representing bands such as The SamplesThe Samples

In 1996 Hyatt asked Summer Trembley to create a logo for her new company, and founded Ariel Publicity in Boulder, CO. The company specializes in independent musicians, and has represented over 1,500 artists.
