Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association
club competition between the top Armagh Clubs. The winners of the Armagh Championship qualify to represent their county in the Ulster Senior Club Football Championship
and in turn, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship
. The 2009 Armagh County Champions were Pearse Óg
from Armagh City. The 2009 Armagh Championship final was contested by Armagh Harps and Pearse Óg
with Pearse Ogs lifting the Gerry Fegan Cup for their first time since 1992. The final score in this match was Pearse Ogs 0-8 Armagh Harps 0-4.
