Entertainment

After the first season controversy of the Flip This House cast, the second season was recast with Montelongo's team from San Antonio and another from Atlanta. Along with his wife Veronica, Brent Holt, and Randy Burch they were known as the San Antonio Team on the A&E show. He was on the show for three seasons.

In 2011, Montelongo formed a film production company, called Armando Montelongo Productions, to produce a feature film called Mission Park. Described as an "urban crime drama", the movie was set and filmed in San Antonio. Mission Park was written and directed by San Antonio native Bryan Ramirez, and featured actors Jeremy Ray Valdez

In August 2011, the Armando Montelongo Companies were recognized on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing companies in the United States, ranking No. 19. It was the No. 1 education company on the list, and Montelongo was ranked as the No. 2 Hispanic business owner.

Montelongo moved back to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas, from California in 2001 and launched a career as a real estate investor. He began offering real estate seminars in 2005 and started Armando Montelongo Seminars in 2008. It is part of the Armando Montelongo Companies.

Montelongo is the author of the book "Flip and Grow Rich". The book takes lessons from his personal and professional life, including his time on Flip This House, and incorporates them into an educational program for real estate investors.

Montelongo was born in San Antonio in 1970 and grew up in the city. He met and married his wife, Veronica, in California, and their son Armando was born there.
