He studied new German literature before starting his career as a Unit Manager and First Assistant Director. Since 1999 he has directed several movies and theatre plays and was awarded with a Golden Camera in 2004 for his movie "Déjà vu". The year 2007 saw the commencement of the production of several movies related to equestrian studs all around Germany with his film production 'ARMINIUS MEDIA'. His passion for horses was the incentive for a series of films about the breeds and history of these noble animals. The first of these movies is "Das Sanssouci der Pferde". A tribute to the stud of Brandenburg in Neustadt (Dosse).

At the present moment he is in the process of producing movies about the "Swabian Alb", a beautiful region in the south-west of Germany, a training movie "From the double lunge to long reining" and a hommage to a very special breed of horses - "The Frisians".
