Arran Stephens

Arran Stephens is a Canadian CEO, entrepreneur and author. He hails from a farming family on Vancouver Island
. He and his wife Ratana cofounded food businesses that became Nature's Path
in Vancouver
after he visited India in the 1960s. Their childen Jyoti and Arjan have been able to work for the family business and many other relatives and in-laws are involved in food farming, processing and sales at other companies.
As Nature's Path has grown Arran's personal and family connections have helped diversify the food products and ancillary projects the company is involved with. In 2007 Andrew Weil
combined his eponymous health and wellness brand with Nature's Path's food processing knowhow to introduce a line of healthy and sustainable fruit and nut bars. The advancement of sustainable Earth friendly organic agricultural practices and the spiritual dimensions of food have been major motivating factors in the successes Arran and numerous cohorts have enjoyed. In 2011 Arran finished and published the book "The Compassionate Diet" with Eliot Rosen's help in another effort to advance these worldly and spiritual goals.
