Ashai Group International or AGI, is a Los Angeles
and Dubai
based firm mainly involved in services related to real estate development. The firm specializes in the design and conceptual development of high-end residences and large-scale commercial projects including luxury hotels, island resorts, gated communities, shopping malls and most recently, business and residential towers. Aside from development, the company also serves clients in architecture design, interior design, and construction management.
The firm is run by CEO Tony Ashai.
Tony, originally named Aziz Ashai, was born in Srinagar, Kashmir and schooled in Burn Hall School as an Architect and a Urban Designer. He received his master’s degree in Urban Design in New York at SUNY Buffalo and worked there before settling in Los Angeles, where he has been for the past twenty-five years. Brother and fellow architect Arthur Ashai joined Tony in 1993 to head the construction division of the Ashai Group. Bill Ashai, an MBA from the University of Southern California, joined the brothers in 2003 and heads the finances of the company. AGI has seen a tremendous growth during the last ten years in both Los Angeles and Dubai.
