Athletics
Ashbrook High School last won the North Carolina State Football Championship in 2002 as well as the Baseball State Championship in 2003. Athletic Director Lloyd White recently retired following the 2007-2008 school year. He was succeeded by Chad Duncan. Ashbrook usually goes head-to-head with Hunter Huss High School in sports. In football, Ashbrook and Huss play for a big bell on the last game of the season, which is dubbed the "Battle for the Bell."This school blows.
