Scottish FA

ATAC was not formed as a protest group but as a voice of the Tartan Army, bringing forward issues from its members (also known as footsoldiers). ATAC was officially recognised by the SFA on the 18th June 2000 when SFA Chief Executive, David Taylor and the legendary Marjory Nimmo joined the Steering committee of ATAC in Perth

 for a meeting.
Since that first meeting with the SFA, there has continued to be open dialogue, which has carried on with the new Chief Executive, Gordon Smith.

Football competitions

ATAC run 2 football competitions, the Scotland Supporters Club (SSC) Cup which is a 7-a-side competition; and the Tennents Tartan Army Cup, which is an 11-a-side competition.
