Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI)

The Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) is non-profit-making association that is the representative body of the Luxembourg investment fund community. Created in 1988, ALFI is a member of EFAMA, the European Fund and Asset Management Association and IIFA, the International Investment Funds Association. As from 9 June 2011 its chairman is Marc Saluzzi, partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers

Eligible investment funds are Undertakings for Collective Investment (UCI) and other regulated investment vehicles. Eligible fund service providers include but are not limited to companies such as custodian banks, fund administrators and managers, transfer agents, distributors, legal firms, consultants, tax offices, auditors and accountants, IT providers and communication companies.
Associate membership is also available to foreign entities provided that they offer services to members.
As of November 2011, there were 1,140 member funds, 233 service providers and 20 associate members.
