Despite her late start, Itagaki was one of the most popular AV actresses for the year 2007, ranking at #6 in the list of 100 best selling actresses at the video retailer DMM (part of the Hokuto Corporation
). She was listed in the #10 spot at DMM for 2008 and after a year at SOD, columnist Kemuta Ōtsubo considered her to be the mainstay of the company. In 2009 she ranked at #70 in the DMM list and she was nominated for the Best Actress Award at the 2009 Adult Broadcasting Awards
