The illustrations and cover design for Neermaruthile Uppan was done by the author. The cover picture for the first and third edition of Tharattu was done by the author. She conducted an exhibition of her paintings in Thiruvananthapuram in December 2004. Dabbles in medium like watercolour and oil. Interested in painting using natural colours. Some of the pictures are hand painted using clay, flowers and leaves as medium.

She was involved in the investigation into allegations of sexual assault made against former Kerala Public Works minister P. J. Joseph
