However, he was picked up an injury two weeks before the fight and was replaced by Germany's Alan Omer. Omer, himself, also admitted to having an injury but went ahead with the fight, nonetheless. Chris Stringer was also set up against AJ Wenn, but Wenn ended up fighting Ali McClean instead.
