BWIC stands for Batam Wireless Internet Community. A non-profit organisation, BWIC has become a strong community on Batam Island, which helps people to get a low-cost internet connection. Wireless technology is the best solution to make its vision possible. BWIC also will support people who interest with wireless network technology.

BWIC also have an objective to share knowledge for the community, any ideas related to Wireless Networking will be shared to everyone for free. BWIC welcome for learning or discuss about Wireless Network. BWIC know exactly, that they are not expert or guru in wireless technology, but BWIC will try hard to share with all people their knowledge based on their experience and their experiment.
