The Bachani tribe hails from several different Rajput clans who are mainly from Tando Allahayar, Sindh. They are mainly situated in Hyderabad, Karachi, TandoAllahyar. The Hindu Sindhis of Bachani background migrated to India during the parition. This surname was given to the tribe in name of Bachhanmal who has been the real Godfather of the Bachanis. Hindu families of this tribe were first situated in Punjab (India), but migrated to sindh in the late 18th century for trade and safeguard purpose, and then again migrated back to India and other places in the world during partition. There has never been any conflict between Hindu and Muslim Bachani tribes. It is over all a very much integrated community. There have been many good matrimonial alliances of Tando Allahyar with nearby places also, like Tando Adam in earlier days.
