Badr satellite program is the series of the robotic of spacecraft
missions of Pakistan

It was the first SUPARCO engineered object to orbit the Earth. That launch took place on July 16, 1990 as part of the International Frequency Registration Bureau

. However, the Badr satellite program also used by the Saudia Arabia via SUPARCO as its contrator. The Badr-3, Badr-4, and Badr-5 satellites are controlled by the Saudia Arabia's Arabsat. All these satellites are launched by Russian and Europeans expendable launch vehicle except the Badr-1 satellite.
The Badr series consisted of five satellites. All five satellites are domestically developed. The Badr-I satellite successfully completed its designated life and all three of the satellites are still in use. The Badr program will be decommissioned in 2012 after the Badr-B completed its successful designated life in a Earth's orbit. The Pakistan Remote Sensing satellite system will be taking the place of Badr-Satellite program in 2012.
