. College’s foundation stone was laid by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Iftikhar Ahmed Sirohey on 6th of December 1986. It was established under the supervision of Pakistan Navy
, as a center of excellence to provide quality education along with the personality grooming particularly to naval personnel’s children and in general children of residents of Islamabad. College provides education to students from kindergarten up to SSC

, Pakistan. The college not only provides an ideal atmosphere for acquiring knowledge but also is an emblem of academic excellence along with character building and all round grooming of students through co and extra curricular activities.
It has two basketball courts and two playing grounds inside the campus as well as Squash and Lawn tennis courts, football, cricket and hockey ground outside the campus. It has a three story building. Cambridge Section occupies the third floor. The Bahria College has three libraries. The Central library is common to the Boys' and Girls' Wing, whereas the Cambridge and the Primary Wing have their own libraries. Every student and faculty member can use these libraries. Books can be issued by members, for a limited duration of 2 weeks.
A cafeteria is present in the College which provides a full menu to the students and the faculty members (Boys' Wing only). A new cafeteria has been made for the Girls' Wing and the Cambridge Wing (boys only).
Extra cirricular activities such as Annual plays, English and Urdu, Festivals of historical events, Fun fairs, science quiz, debates etc. are carried out throughout the academic year annually.
The College is known to have very strict rules and policies. Students coming late to school are either told to run around the football ground but if lucky, they are told to stand outside the College for 2 hours after which they have the liberty to go home.
Similarly forgetting to wear ties, badges and blue socks can result in a Rs.500/- fine. For any damage to school property; window, chair, football, etc. there is a standard Rs.5000/- fine.

Education
Bahria College Islamabad provides education to students from kindergarten up to the HSSC/A level. The school is divided into 5 sections; The Primary Wing (education up to the 5th grade), The Boys' Wing (education up to HSSC), The Girls' Wing (education up to HSSC), The Cambridge Wing, which is affiliated with the Cambridge University, offers two programmes: O-level and A-level and The Special Education Wing where the special children get the education and physical activity according to modern techniques.The Discipline Committee
The Discipline Committee of the college monitors the students and maintains strict discipline throughout the institution. It is composed of four house masters and the college council which consists of students of 12th grade.The College is known to have very strict rules and policies.
