According to the BGS website, "Bandon Grammar School is a co-educational boarding school with in excess of 500 pupils. Bandon Grammar School has a well established reputation for the wide range of subjects available, for the involvement, commitment and dedication of its staff and for the excellent facilities it offers."

General

Bandon Grammar is a mixed fee paying school which caters for both Day Students and Boarding Students. Currently Bandon Grammar accepts many international students from countries such as Germany, Spain and France.

Bandon Grammar is currently undergoing many structural changes including a brand new block of classrooms, a new canteen and a new Woodwork block which opened for the School Year starting September 2011.
