Management

BKSP is run by a Board of Governors, which is headed by the Minister of Youth and Sports.

Training programme

BKSP is a residential school, and has training programmes in the following areas:
  • Athletics
  • Basketball
  • Cricket
  • Soccer
  • Gymnastics,
  • Field Hockey
  • Swimming
  • Boxing
  • Shooting, and
  • Tennis


Students are admitted in class VII (7th grade), but in some cases like Gymnastics or Boxing, younger students below the age of 10 are admitted in Class IV (fourth grade).

Affiliation and other services

BKSP is affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, and National University of Bangladesh. It has a Sports Science department which provides training and short courses on Sports medicine, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, Bio-mechanics, etc. to trainers and coaches. It also provides regular education to its students.
