. It has several campuses: Eastgate House, the Falcon Centre, the SciTech Centre, Old Mill Lane Site, Construction Centre Site, Bell Vue and the Honeywell Centre. The college provides A levels, vocational courses and higher education courses.
Upon its last Ofsted
inspection, the college was awarded the grade of Outstanding, the highest grade available, further to this award the college was also deemed as being The best college in the UK By Ofsted officials.

Old Mill Lane
The original Old Mill Lane A Block has now been demolished with classes being relocated to the B block or one of the other various college sites. The area is currently undergoing a complete transformation with the construction of a new multi million pound building to replace both A and B block. This is due for completion in June 2011, with the final stage being the demolition of B block to make way for a landscaped garden area. The subjects that will be taught in the new Old Mill Lane site will generally be for the vocational qualifications.Eastgate House
Officially opened by Jeff Ennis, this has now been rebranded as the Barnsley Sixth Form College where the majority of A Level subjects are taught, examples include English, Geography, Business & Social Sciences. There are plans to replace this building by 2016.The SciTech Centre
