Barrhead High School

Barrhead High School is a secondary school situated in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire. The school is over 25 years old and Mr A Sinclair is the current headmaster, appointed in June 2010. The school focuses on its School of Ambition ethos in teaching, and its relationship with the community of Barrhead.
The current Head Boy is Craig Figures, assisted by deputies Ross Crae and Michael Gribben. Head Girl is Julia Hansen, with Fiona Cunningham and Gemma Mclauchlan as deputies.

Head Boy & Head Girl
The head pupils are decided by 'democratic' vote; any S6 pupil can run an election campaign prior to a ballot vote. All teachers can vote for a male candidate and a female candidate. The male and female candidates with the most votes achieve the titles of head pupils and the title of Cool Bean Masters.The current Head Boy is Craig Figures, assisted by deputies Ross Crae and Michael Gribben.
