Bartlett is a village located in both Cook County
and DuPage County, Illinois
. A small parcel on the western border is in Kane County
. The population was 36,706 at the 2000 census. A 2002 recount gave the village a population of 37,304. In 2007 another recount gives the village a population of 41,500. The community now known as the Village of Bartlett was named after founder Luther Bartlett who offered land to the railroad.

In the village the population was spread out with 31.7% under the age of 18, 5.4% from 18 to 24, 37.8% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 5.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 97.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.7 males.
According to a 2007 estimate, the median income for a household in the village was $86,629, and the median income for a family was $93,547. Males had a median income of $60,182 versus $36,494 for females. The per capita income
