BatchMaster was founded by Randy Peck, firstly as Pacific Micro Software Engineering before changing the name to BatchMaster Software Corporation in 1992.
In 2000, the company was acquired by eWorkplace Solutions, itself founded by Dr. Sahib A Dudani, a veteran of over 35 years of successful experience in the software industry, whose alma maters include Bachelor in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and Master’s and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University products. Under his leadership, BatchMaster has scaled its infrastructure, increased staff to more than 200, and broadened its offerings.

BatchMaster Manufacturing for SAP B1: Built within SAP Business One, and sharing a single interface, BatchMaster Manufacturing lends its Process Manufacturing Capabilities to SAP Business One. The product securely integrates data between BatchMaster’s Formula, Laboratory, Costing, and Production modules with Inventory, Sales, and Purchase modules of SAP Business One.
BatchMaster Manufacturing for Microsoft Dynamics GP: In-Built to Microsoft Dynamics GP, BatchMaster Manufacturing lends its Process Manufacturing Capabilities to it. The product securely integrates data between BatchMaster’s Formula, Laboratory, Costing, and Production modules with Inventory, Sales, and Purchase modules of Microsoft Dynamics GP.

- 1981 – 83: Company formed as Pacific Micro Software Engineering, originally produced a Paint formulation product based on dBase II.
- 1988: BatchMaster Dos Version 2.0 was released, with a full suite of process manufacturing modules, and a change of database to BtrieveTM (later PervasiveTM).
- 1992: Name changed to BatchMaster Software Corp., BatchMaster was integrated to Platinum DOS, a financial software product from Platinum Software Corporation (later Epicor), and expanded to other verticals. Ver 4.x Pervasive Database.
- 1999: BatchMaster for Windows Platinum’ released. Platinum Software Corporation renamed Epicor.
- 2000: eWorkplace Solutions, Inc. acquires BatchMaster Software Corporation.
- 2001: BatchMaster Enterprise 7.0 released on Microsoft SQL database. Epicor sells ‘Platinum for Windows’ to Sage Software (then Best Software).
- 2002: BatchMaster Enterprise 7.15 released. ‘BatchMaster for Windows Platinum’ product on Pervasive database sold to Sage Software. BatchMaster Software, Inc. established as wholly owned division of eWorkplace Solutions, Inc.
- 2003: Released BatchMaster Enterprise 7.20.
- 2004: Released BatchMaster Enterprise 7.25.
- 2005: Released BME 7.30 with integration to several leading financial software options. Released additional modules: Audit Logger, BatchMaster Mobile, Advanced Planning & Scheduling, Sampling, and Feed Formulation.
- 2006: Released StarShip shipping integration and Statistical Forecasting Add on.
- 2007: Released BatchMaster Manufacturing for SAP Business One. Launched Excise Module for global companies requiring this localization, and incorporated CRM into BatchMaster ERP.
- 2008: Released BME 2007 at the beginning of the year.
- 2008: Released BatchMaster ERP pre-configured Vertical packages – Food, US FDA. Also introduced a process-manufacturing-friendly Sales Module for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- 2009: Formally launched BatchMaster Manufacturing for SAP Business One. Add-ons part launched included B2B/B2C, Business Portal, Dashboards, BI (Qlikview), EDI for BME, and Project Management Central (SharePoint Portal).
- 2010: Launched BatchMaster Manufacturing for Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains. Also released BMM SAP extensions (Data collection/Bin Management/Routing) and BatchMaster World (SharePoint Portal).

BatchMaster ERP: BSI’s flagship product, which has a series of modules for manufacturing, production, quality, warehouse, sales, purchase, Inventory & production control, production & materials planning, R&D product development, lot-traceability and total compliance management, and much more. The software manages operational information about things like ingredients, throughput, performance and timing.
