Bawani is located in between Bhiwani and Hansi.there are many temples, deras, gurudwaras, masjids etc. There are famous deras like "DERA BABA RAMROOP JI MAHARAJ", "BABA JARNANATH JI", "BABA SOMAARPURI" and temples like "Shiv Mandir", "Parvati Mandir","Pranami Mandir","Kaali Maa Mandir","Maa Durga Mandir". There is also a trust "Om Shanti".There are more than 22 schools like "Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri High School", "Adarsh High School", "City Sr. Sec. School", "B.K. Sr. Sec. School" etc. Some custum functions are organised here. These are "Ramleela", "Jaagran","satsangs"," Janmastmi". There are three fairs held namely: 1. Basant Punchmi Mela, 2. Googa Navmi Mela, 3. Teej Mela.
