Overview

Bayraktar-B was introduced in 2006, after the basic Bayraktar-A system which undergone serious modifications in order to improve airframe and sensors. Bayraktar-B is a hand-launched smart robotic system solution for short range reconnaissance and surveillance operations. The system was developed to operate under harsh geographic and meteorological conditions. Bayraktar-B is fielded with small army units and as of 2011 have recorded more than 30,000 flight hours.
