) is a Mexican
politician affiliated to the National Action Party
(PAN) who has served in the lower
and upper house
of the Mexican Congress

representing Yucatán but left that position to joined Felipe Calderón
's presidential cabinet as Secretary of Social Development. In January 2008 she left the cabinet and returned to the senate.
